Topher Teague

Soulful, energetic, insightful, and passionate – Topher Teague’s unique musical style is built upon multiple genres and appeals to listeners from all walks of life. Topher received a guitar as a gift from his father at just 10 years of age. His passion for music started when he picked up the guitar for the first time and has been by his side ever since. His music has walked with him through the highs and lows of his life from the divorce of his parents and the death of his father to discovering his faith and his marriage to his beautiful wife. His songwriting is based on his life experiences, and the listener can relate to his open and honest lyrics. Topher graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Recording Industry Management in 2008 and currently works at BMI in Nashville, TN assisting with artist and writer events. He led worship for the youth ministry at World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, TN from 2003-2008. In 2007 Topher donated his time to work with Steve Siler on a music video for his song “Losing Ground” which was featured on the DVD documentary Somebody’s Daughter; other contributors to this project include Clay Cross and Scott Krippayne. Songwriting is his outlet, and he frequently performs at local venues with fellow singer-songwriters. Max Heindel once said, “Music is the soul of language.” Topher Teague writes from his soul and is an open book to his audience.
